Material Procurement

When crafting our high-quality paddles and other impact implements, we are extremely selective about the materials we use, aiming only for the finest and most premium components. We take great care in hand-selecting each individual piece from a carefully curated lumber selection sourced from trees within a 50-mile radius of our workshop. The dense, resilient hardwoods we choose, such as oak, maple, and ash, are meticulously inspected for the perfect grain patterns, lack of knots or blemishes, and optimal moisture content – only the cream of the crop makes/gets the cut.

Small Shop Life

In the cozy confines of our home workshop, we’ve carved out a dedicated workspace that has been meticulously designed to streamline our woodworking operations. We depend on our table saw, CNC routers, jointer, planer and many other tools to help us maximize our art. Though compact, our workshop is a veritable sanctuary for the woodworking craft, a hive of organized productivity where the calculated layout of each tool and station enables us to work with focused efficiency, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in our modest but meticulously optimized space.
